Driving a car from UK to Kenya?

Wewe unajua unasema nini? Some parts of S. Sudan are not desert, unaweza kwama kwa matope for days. And how will he drive through rebel controlled territories?

Average consumption is 19L/100KM, UK is like 10K kilometers away, hapo bado haujaweka pesa ya maintenance… Mlikuwa mnakula Mùgùka by any chance?

Atakuwa amebeba mizigo na hio lamborgini?

  1. Maintenance: Used supercars are a challenge. They are usually very good new but since they have a myriad of complex systems, everything so fine tuned and balanced, it doesnt take long for a gazillion problems to appear abruptly as they age. Fixing them is not easy or cheap.
  2. Usability: What is the road clearance of that car? Our roads are shit. Traffic congestion, huge bumps, potholes: one can drive a supercar at 100kph year round? Whats the point?

First tupeni hizo bhangi mnavuta, next uzeni hiyo gari na pesa mmepata buy another practical car for Kenya and ship it

I agree.

The new ones are expensive. He talked with a dealer huko South Africa if he could purchase one there and the prices were beyond what he bargained.

His is a 2007 and he bought for around 8.5 million kshs. With around 22,000kms on the dash. He might as well sell it…

You don’t have to go to South Sudan, atachukua detour Ethiopia, but not with a Lambo.

What is the state of roads there vile kuna place nyingi remote?

There’s a British show called Long way down that documents the journey from London to Capetown by road. Some roads in Sudan were terrible, but they made sure to avoid the rainy Season. Shida kubwa ilikuwa the isiolo moyale road, but this was 10 years ago so alot has changed.

Mwambie awache kujenga nyumba kwanza…hiyo pesa aitumie kuship gari (am assuming ni pesa hana ndio maana anataka kuidrive all the way) which will mostly like not be allowed within Kenyan border

Wah na unajua barabara man… tell him to sheep it ata asi ship

Won’t be registered in Kenya but if it was at least 8 years or younger he would have it registered duty free otherwise KRA does not have duty guides for vehicles before 2012 and Lambos

I think the law should change here.

Because if someone is importing a 5.6l or 6l engines they should get exempted since the cars are performance vehicles.

Wasting his time
