@jimmy_m Dstv simply doesnt offer value for the money you pay. Even for the lowest tier (which is the same price as a decent bottle of single malt whisky, [Glenlivet 1824, 12yrs old]). What you get simply doesnt justify the cost. I went cold turkey last month and stopped paying for the damn thing. They will not survive in this market if they dont make a serious change to their product line. It will get to the point where they were 20yrs ago where only bars/hotels and a couple of homes have dstv. Back then we couldnt imagine paying 4,500/- to watch tv. Now we cant imagine paying the same 4,500/- for pretty much the same content we can find online at no cost.
