If you kill someone, ensure they don’t look at you, otherwise your image will remain embedded onto their eyes and police can track you. That’s why some killers chuck out the eyes of their victims.

All that means is as you said, its how a camera works. The image comes in from one side, into a focal point and the image is in reverse on the other side. THATS THE SCIENTIFIC PRINCIPLE.
As to having the image being retained is where it all falls apart and consequently debunked.
