Problem is Liverpool have never met the ambition of courtinho and he knows he is a perfect fit for Barcelona. Just sell now at that overprice of £120 million and buy good replacements quickly. Letting it drag on affects squad mood, preparation and creates uncertainty.

Liverpool always finds itself in this situation year in year out. There was Suarez a player that literary carried the whole team whom they could not keep a hold of.
They can get Turan and Sergei Roberto from Barcelona and that will strengthen the squad. Courtinho head has definitely turned too much. He even put a transfer request.
Man Utd had the same situation with De Gea three years ago and the Glazers respond was simple. Provide funding to buy top players to put believe into the squad, manager and fans. It worked.
