The exact reason I loathe apps. Unless it’s a really specialist application app such as those we use for satellite installations, I personally see no need to have an app whose main aim is to access the Internet, something I can already do on the browser. At least on the browser I can access any and all sites simultaneously which to me is more convenient than having an app for more or less each and every site.
