The white flashes from the explosion are the result of an exothermic reaction. Where powered magnesium oxide is used to ignite the ionized fuel used in the blast.
As you can see in the video the blast hits a mountain where they’re caves and tunnels hiding ammunition dumps and probably a combat outpost. This is bad news whoever was inside the blast zone as there lungs were incinerated instantly…
