I heard he wanted to have a publicised role when he first started at the Nation but the folks in charge of those sections felt he didn’t have the aptitude for it. He was stuck doing admin stuff for years and worked his way up the chain in relative obscurity until recently. Now that he’s finally having his 15 minutes, he just can’t get enough.

They’re smart fellows. Mutua has little aptitude for his role and seems to enjoy antagonizing everyone that doesn’t fit his narrow moral compass.

Doubt it if he’ll get elected as Machakos governor. He’ll end up where Mututho is languishing.
