I don’t even know if there’s a city in the US that has implemented this. I remember it being tested in NC. Somewhere in the RDU.

Several cities have them, including DC and Baltimore, though I don’t think they have slowed down murder rates or contributed significantly to arrests/solving shootings.

I Dont get why we have to play peacemaker for a country that has always wanted a chunk of our territory and has persisted since independence in sending armed raiders across the border to disrupt our over politicized & fucked up way of life, the moment Somalia’s army becomes capable, if ever, kenya will doubtless be threatened by her.

So you prefer the status quo to remain because of perceived future conflict, imagine if somalia was a peaceful country, how beneficial it would be for Kenya and its other neighbors

somali is very unlikely to end up as a democracy considering there already very fractured Clan-based Politics and the extensive support they’ve been getting from Arab countries who all have autocratic governance systems [that rubs off Somalia] i.e. Turkey, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia and the like, to this day Somali’s & it’s fledgling govt. still perceives the N.E.P. as part of their territory, but they know they currently have bigger problems…
