The former colonial powers will never let that happen as they always want those countries to eat off their palms and at the same time loot them dry, the francophone countries leaders will never let that happen as they need france in order to remain in power so that can loot for their cronies and finally the citizens will not let that happen as they do not realise their real self worth.
