Guka Predicted: Kenyans Call Out the Supreme Court

Nasa hao

Guka ebu jibu Haya maswali ya bar talk.

What is a presidential election?

  • To say an election has occurred in Kenya, must there be a vote cast in each and every polling station or just that in each constituency there was a vote cast?
  • To be declared president elect, you must garner 25% in 24 counties, can NASA leaning counties deny that percentage?
  • If a potential voter is prevented (say outside the gates of a primary school that’s a polling station) from voting, is that an election offence?
*If the votes cast, counted and inadvertently awarded to the other opponent during transmission to the National tallying center but the correct info is transmitted to the constituency tallying center, what happens then?

Just like RAT come on TV looking silly and say Kenyans this, Kenyans that.

  1. Not each and every polling station. EACH CONSTITUENCY. You only need one voter for that.
  2. No. Jubilee has already won more than half the counties. In any event, if just 3 voters vote in Kisumu Town Constituency and two vote for Uhuru, in that constituency the president would have won 66.6% of the vote!
3.Yes. The obstructing party commits an electoral offence.
  3. Huh?

And a religious saint sent straight from heaven

Githeri men give it a rest.it seems this time the lakeside beasts are playing you at your game and doing it nicely and neatly.the other communities are ringside enjoying you get the dose

The tumbocracy field day of receiving our rejects is just adding spice to the match.

hapa umekosea, voting can either be by actual casting if a ballot or by abstaining…
if iebc set up a polling station as per the law in say; Tom Mboya hall in kisumu(assuming this is a gazetted polling centre) from 6 a.m to 5 p.m and no one turns up to vote, an election will have been deemed to have taken place.

**tafakari hayo.

@Young, that is a really profound idea!!

it’s the law @Nattydread , in the just concluded ‘void’ election, there was a polling station with only 1 registered voters who didn’t turn up to vote but iebc incurred the expenses of setting up a polling station including flying the ballot material to the place. That guy voted by abstaining!
