System restore to a point where it was OK. Go back a day or two itakuwa sawa. Although most of the time utapata the restore feature is usually off by default so itasumbua. But then again me no IT guru

I had been having the same issue with my laptop. Hereās my kienyeji way of sorting it out every time it happens.
Let the laptop boot kawaida until it gets to the blank screen. Then shut it (like close it the way you would if someone walked in on you while watching adult movies) and it will immediately go to hibernation mode. Leave it for a few hours in that state and after a while it will completely shut down on its own.
Once this has been done, boot it kawaida and violaā¦your login screen will be back.
If i was me, i would simply do a fresh installation, to avoid these everyday machida, that is after backing up the necessary files; but yes, iām not you, so, jaribu other alternatives kwanza, if all fails, you know what to doā¦
argh! Sorry @dusko the statement was meant for @SK2018

I thought ni kitu ya maana
Wrong! A long as you can get to the BIOS and set the DVD as first boot device, Linux Mint will run and you do not even need to install it.

SK2018:
@Deorro & other IT gurus here, I urgently need some help. I have a laptop that uses Windows 10 that has totally refused to successfully boot beyond the password interface. Jana mimi na ufala mob I downloaded some software that I think had a virus and since I shut it down jana, Iāve been unsuccessful in using it. What might be the problem and how do I solve it?
If it needs formating, how can I instal Linux Mint coz thatās the OS I have at the moment? Najua Linux needs Windows for successful installation, so I am just curious.
Get a software called iSeepassword. It will sort you out
