A nightout in government is full board and is usually quite generous. For me, the rate for Nairobi was about 15k. The good thing in government is your Nairobi bosses would call you for a meeting which will take a only a few hours but will indicate in the invitation letter that it will take two days (so that you benefit). So you take two days nights out

Money is there to be ‘eaten’ within the controls available. If you dont eat, someone up there is eating your share. That is the importance of controls. The poorer they are the more is eaten

Hehehe, reminds me when i was a civil servant. I could use ms publisher to make look alike receipts of good hotels in Nairobi or for any fake purchases, colour print on that carbon copy paper of a normal cash sale receipt books and tear it using the edge of a hacksaw. Comes out cleanly just like any other genuine receipt.
