@Koolibah -you don’t have to stay with an abusive woman, or one who can’t do what you consider right and proper…ok, ok, you can’t be chucking them out every time there’s an infringement. but you need to be clear every time you feel something has not gone right. In any case, letting small small things pile up leads to serious mental illnesses such as depression that can lead to explosions of violence, sometimes with extreme consequences…both ways.

Yenyewe kutwanga bibi is not the solution. Clear communication is the real deal here. I believe a man who beats up his wife has some esteem issues, reason why he would prefer intimidation to gain respect. Treat her well and you will never go wrong.
