hapa ni uwongo. try using Pixel for a week, thenn use Nokia for a week then use Samsung for a week then use Xiaomi’s MIUI for a week. The experience is really different. each have their own unique features in their skins. That is the beauty of android. even custom roms are kinda different from each other

And again today if you can customize your android phone to look like anything you like is there even the need to buy from a different manufacturer

Xiaomi, Oppo and huawei offer the same thing? Nope. To begin with Huawei is just another Nokia with a poorer CPU one year down the line in the midrange arena.

When we advice netizens to go for a decent midrange we look at CPU and GPU power and speed vis a vis battery consumption rate, developer base support and few things like which manufacture releases kernel sources earlier.

Back to Huawei, in the midrange arena you get a very powerful CPU but a meh GPU, consequence is high battery drain on idle state and usage. Secondly, huawei don’t believe in its midrange, they rarely offer Gorrilla glass.

Oppo on the other end their specialty is making Kevlar phones on the outside, very sturdy gadgets but fail in CPU and GPU. They also take time to release kernel sources in some of their devices, its a hit or miss here.

Now, lets go to xiaomi, this is one company that cares not what you do with your device, they give you great hardware screen and body, greater cpu and gpu, release kernel sources in two or three months time, has wide developers base, very cheap too but their policy is you are the product but if you know what you are doing you can easily cut this cord.

Back to you, as illustrated above, phones are not equal, get the decent device and enjoy better battery life and android experience.

To be sincere all the phone manufactures only care abut profits and how and what they include in their phones is determined by their business models. Huawei just wants to ride on economies of scale, Samsung on their brand just like APPLE, Xiaomi will sell you cheap phones with great features in the hope that they will trap in you in their ecosystem of services so that you either buy their services or watch their ads. This way they recover the money they lost in selling their phones so cheap. Oppo, OnePlus and the rest are just trying to offer consumers something different which is not really working. It is the reason they have started concentrating on their brand by using celebrities. Nokia just wants to ride on its former glory and everything was working out well but competition is so high and the business of selling phones today has the smallest margins than ever before. So all this manufacturers offer one and the same thing. Remember this, apart from and Samsung all other manufacturers buy their components from same manufacturers - Mediatek, Qualcomm,Samsung. Its how they combine them for best user experience that creates the small differences. I

Don’t worry it may take you longer to realize this. Just ask yourself is it worth to have those big processors and RAMs that you always under utilize. There exist no applications to make use of all this remembering even the biggest games such as Asphalt Airbone can run on just a decent phone costing around 20k. Today phones are the best they can be because they are limited in hardware that’s why Samsung is trying to re-invent the wheel by building foldable phones. Else just get an iPhone and you will realize how all phones running android are just the same thing.
