I associate this brand with the jalopies baba Moi received from the South Koreans in the late 90’s. You barely see them on the roads these days.

Bias aside the Japanese are still number one at building an entry level, pocket friendly car.

You have a valid point. What you forgot to point out is the African attitude towards maintenance. SAA hii utapata hata Toyota na Mercedes za serikali zimechapa kama hizo Hyundai. If you don’t maintain anything, it will fall apart. I for one picks out govt cars by their general state of disrepair.

I had imported a 2013 Sonata sometime back, the interior was spacious, heated front and rear seats, Hyundai bluelink that utilized mobile apps to start, stop, lock, unlock the vehicle remotely, modern Hyundai’s are far much superior than what hit our roads in the late 90’s.
