Fair usage policy, unlimited doesn’t necessarily means “tumia venye unataka” especially when it comes to the likes of Safaricom, Airtel, Telkom etc… data transfer “bandwidth” is always monitored, in the event you deplete yours so fast the way you naively did, it is always capped (Reduced to slow transfer)
so next month niki renew subscription haitaendelea kuwa capped, coz nitapewa bandwith fresh?
there is this time…i made free calls for almost 3 months. before safaricom warealise wanikate nikiwa kwa call. i really enjoyed the service

Why are you downloading YouTube videos? Ama ni ile mazoea ya kukosa net so you download the everything ukipata net. Just stream them.
niliwacha ku download. nimetumia bandwith mob hadi wakaninyongea download speeds?

Safaricom Fiber is supposed to be unlimited and without caps. From day 1 to 30 speeds zinafaa kua same. I use the same 5Mbps plan and the best nishawai ona kwa IDM ni 2MB/s (Megabytes, not megabits). With you getting speeds of up to 11MB/s, it must have been a mistake on their end.
Shukuru ilienjoy while it was there. Otherwise, pambana na hali yako vile iko sasa.

Safaricom claim fiber yao ni dedicated.
Lo haha i can’t imagine those speeds… xbox enyewe game kama gears of war 4 ni 97gb bila download…and i usually uninstall and reinstall in hours when i need to play multiplayer again…but 700kb/s ain that bad …if you grew up with net from dail up utasurvive and yes next month they will unlocked again but if i were you switch at least kitu iko unlimited at 1MB/S that can work for you

But I thought ya Safcom Faimba haikuwangi capped…Mimi hukumbiza downloads kaa gari ya miraa…na sijawai punguziwa…speed ya masafa
talkers wenye mkona IDM download speeds zenu hukuwa aje?
Nikona Safaricom home fiber (5Mbps) and i know that in order to know your download speeds according to the plan you’re in you divide your plan (Mbps) by eight, so in my 5Mbps plan the download speeds should be 625KB/s na hivyo ndivyo ilikua. but after installing IDM and using it as my default downloading program, speeds were ranging from 3MB/s upto 11MB/s (see picture below), in the picture below i was able to download a 3.8GB video from youtube in just 4 minutes at 11MB/s download speeds, wadau, maisha ilikua imekua msuri saidi hivyo and i thanked the good lord in heaven for blessing me with such great speeds. everything was fine in the first day of using IDM, i downloaded tons of stuff at great speeds (didn’t exceed 50GB though). however, on the second day, things didn’t go so well. it started of well with download speeds ranging from the usual 3MB/s to 11MB/s depending on the severs you’re downloading from, so while i was downloading some movie at 8MB/s D-load speeds, the speeds suddenly plummeted to some bullchiet 400KB/s to 750KB/s and it stuck there completely. from then on everywhere i download from the speeds do not surpass the bullchiet 400KB/s to 750KB/s, mazee, after nimeanza kuenjoy hizo speeds wazimu za superbike saitaan akaamua ani DFHKMBL akageuza superbike ikue wheelbarrow. very unfortunate turn of events bana, mans amekuwa na huzuni sana nikama mtu amekufa. sasa swali langu ni hii wadau, kuna vile naweza saidiwa na hii situation? ama safcom wamenikuta waka nyonga speeds so ni kubali tu naku shukuru i enjoyed it while it didn’t last.
