Part of the reason why we keep lagging behind, well, at least some regions, is that children will not go to school as their lazy-ass parents wait for gavament to come build and furnish classrooms. Yaani people just sit there whining waiting for darkness to fall to ferk and produce more useless shits. That’s why you see some crumbling classes on TV and you ask yourself - the local community could not get together and retouch the mud walls/re-thatch?
