When JKIA was being built in Embakasi critics were doing what they do best, complain. Why build an airport outside the city in that bush called Embakasi? Who goes there? We have a perfect airport at Wilson. 50 years later that JKIA has relayed that loan and significantly contributed economically to the nation for decades.
Isiolo is dead centre of Kenya and visionaries will see its short and long term benefits of building an international airport there. Lappset projects are coming up, from Lamu port, Lamu-Garissa-Isiolo express way and High voltage power lines. Northern Kenya will fully open up in the next 5 years and critics will wonder why they didn’t see it.
