I think the wife feels left out now that your friend has a new ‘partner’ that is the Forrester. Its natural for men to fall in love with their toys. Best thing to do if she knows how to drive, give her the car occasionally to go for weddings or visiting relatives. Tell him not be so possessive of the car to the extent of spoiling their union. This way the wife will feel that she comes first before anything else.

First of all if you actually start a sentence with “hash tag” and its not about making a comment while coding, you are no friend of mine and i won’t let you into the house.
On the other hand, the moment a woman starts wielding sharp implements in the house, you best leave. I have a pal whose wife actually put a knife into his belly. Luckily he didnt hit any major organ or puncture his intestines or whatever. But the guy left the house that day and that was that.

@Hash_Tag, yes they have one kid. The guy never pressed charges but we told him not to go back to that house of he wants to live. The threat of it is bad enough, but someone actually doing it while is another thing altogether.
@Ice_Cube there was a period where the guy actually tried to reconcile with her, and we told him that it was a mistake. When they had another disagreement, the guy knew it was not the place to be.

So yesterday am on the couch around 10;30 p.m watching Ray donovan and i hear a continous knock on the door. The guy knocking just wouldn’t stop and I spring from the chair to go check who da faq is that and what he wants. Upon opening its my pal who stays in a different apartment but from the same esto and he goes like;" mtuangu kameumana, silali kwa iyo nyumba leo". I tell him to calm down and tell me what happened and he proceeds; “Hash Tag we’ve been pals for years and if you dont want me to die today then allow me to spend the night here”

Being a bachelor and i didnt have a quail over I allowed him in, opened up a beer for him as I was having and asked him what the problem was. He started; “unakumbuka ile Forester nilinunua may, imeleta shida na bibi” Thats when he narrated to me about his nagging wife who has been a pain on the butt ever since he got that ride. She just wasnt the same woman he knew who gave him a son a year ago. The argument last night hit the ceiling and the wife stabbed the table with a kitchen knife in frustration. Imagine that wtf? Who da hell stabs a table in 2015? That’s what drove the guy nuts and he imagined that wife stabbing him in the middle of the night.

.I thought marriage life is to stick together for better for worse and material items belong to both parties and you should be happy with your partners achievements and success. Ever since she even adopted the “your things” and “my things” attitude and the hubby being the patient,understandin, lovin and all that typa guy just kept up with her bitchy attitude. Kumbe all along the wife also wanted the hubby to get her her own ride. Yaani Zile kelele na mushene na kuchochwa by her pals and the saloon gossip brainwashed her kapsaaaar. (They are a young couple btw hata 2 years bado hawajamada with a son)

The worst thing you can do is to give solutions. As @Ice_Cube mentioned, the guy will be back with his wife and after getting some, the guy will narrate how @Hash_Tag wanted him to divorce. The wife will nuna at you every time you meet, and when you meet the couple, they’ll avoid you like a leper. That’s the point you’ll realize how stupid it was for you to give advice.
