There is a guest house called ‘CARE’ (not sure I havent forgotten the name) about 100 metres East of Gilanis Supermarket. The guest house is very clean and there are plenty of lanyes standing outside…theres also another guest house but not as clean. Thats a place I fried 2 lanyes in one night, but my advise is that you avoid lanyes at all costs. Tafadhali, your life is more important than the 3 minutes of pleasure

Kanu Street is still a hub, pia along Gituamba Rd from 8 Asubuhi. I usually feel embarrassed passing along that road when with my mum and the ‘traders’ are there openly trading their wares. Buts thats my home the town i was born, schooled and raised…
