They do. Only difference is after completion they get a higher rank than the normal recruits… Don’t know whether they go to RTS with the regular ones though.

Yeah normal training for 6 months then they pass out and continue studying military science for 3 years but for specialists the training is just 5 months and it is not as vigorous just the basic military training

6 or 9 doesn’t matter my point was that they undergo training Kama regular service men then they continue with studying military science

Cadet hawes mek but serviceman anawes problem is slots in the kdf are few but demand is high having said that make sure he has his documents in order ie Id, original high school kcse cert and his health in order …wish him the best! Finally the ceremonial kdf is long gone and the operational one is here hope your brother is open to the front deployment

Cadets undergo full military training and some more, more so than a “GSO”. Only specialized officer’s undergo basic training, 3 months weapons training and what not … rarely will see the front line. Cadets on the other hand are future field commander’s, leading by example. Lanet military academy ni more fire.

Cadet … No way, regular private entrance ni “C”. Tell him to go do upgrade course on what he failed esp math, english, geography then give it a shot.
