Kenya Is Now Importing Onions From China

I guess only Egyptian Lives Matter.

Pyrethrum gani? Na inatoka wapi?

Chinese govt have us by the balls.

Our reply to all their demands is a resounding yes.

Jayden needs His legacy and money. For this He doesn’t care whatever He has to give.

From the previous one month, I have seen government trying to implement tax on bee farming, ndengu farming. Last year we saw the milk bill.

Our govt taxes whatever small we have to survive and they give Chinese licenses to compete with on the same products on an equal footing.

Wewe mkojoo hujaona wrink hapo juu?

True

The year is 2021 and bonobos are yet to realise that they can’t competitively farm on their 0.25 acre lots .How do you compete with a 500 acre mechanised farm ?

The Kenyan consumer should not reward inefficient agriculture .

Kuna kitu ilifanyika kwa hii dunia ikageuza akili za Africans. Ancient Africans were self aware, today’s aren’t

Well China supplies almost all the countries in the world with garlic. Not just Kenya. 80% of the worlds garlic supply comes from China. If you try to grow garlic you will soon understand why. It’s not an easy crop to grow. Consumers want big; to them the bigger the better. It’s not easy to grow those big bulbs. But the consumers who have good taste like you, will always be on the lookout for local Kenyan garlic. It’s more flavourful, and harder to find.
Also while chinese garlic is fetching 200/- a kg this month, local garlic is fetching a premium 250/- a kg.

Very few people in this village have attained this level of thinking…

What happened to TZ onions?

How when farm inputs are taxed by the same govt. We are designed to be a consumer nation

Heee…wewe ni kichwa mbaya

Find a loophole and exploit it. Twiga foods wanakula pesa mzuri sana from farming despite the complaints of many farming entrepreneurs and they’re using Kenyan farmers for their supply, soon watakuwa wananunua from all over east africa

Average farm size in china is 2.5 acres(90% of all farms) , one of the smallest in the world. 500 acre mechanised farms don’t exist in east asia.
Misinformation is not a good thing

How China Plans to Feed 1.4 Billion Growing Appetites

Why depend on loopholes when the govt can zero rate tax on farming inputs or better yet provide subsidies?

Umeskia govt cronies ndio wanaimport, utangoja sana

It’s ironic that you write misinformation is not a good thing then you go ahead to misinform.
You genuinely believe that 500 acre mechanised farms do not exist in east asia? Did you bother to read the article you provided? It mentions several.
The two largest farms in the world 22 million acres and 11 million acres are both in China.
