You know, I was thinking about the same thing the other evening. Whenever K’ogalo play, dense dudes strut all over with deep fried fish. Whenever ingwe play, stocky dudes bring out obusima. But we have never seen ngengeman or obusiminza. Why? The context may explain…it was his time and it teaches everyone a lesson. When your time of favour arrives, it does not ask for a vote or social analysis and ‘conditioning’ to do what it does. It just lifts you up. I like githeriman because he has grabbed the opportunity.
