Monday 11a.m
Sunday had been a long day. At around midday majamaa walikuwa wamekam. Tukaenda some place ngong road tukakunywa mpaka early morning hours so i overslept on Monday.
I was woken up by the ringing of my phone. It was Mirri.
“Sasa? Nimekupigia huchukui. Niko hapa ruiru karibu kufika town. Uko wapi?”
I composed myself , “sawa. Waambie wakushukishe hapo roisambu twende pamoja”
I struggled to get out of bed.

It was now 8 . She had cooked supper and we had eaten and the rain didnt seem to be stopping soon. I suggested she sleeps and goes tomorrow.
