Don’t you think he should explain what happened to the billions in public funds on his watch, not unless you mean that he should write a book on how to steal both land and billions without getting caught.

Kidero came in probably with good intentions to change Nairobi, met stiff resistance, gave up and did what most corporate thugs would do, earn his sustenance and line his nest, finally took sabbatical from politics to fight another day. If Sonko is clever, he will do the same but he is unlike to survive for long out of politics.

Sonko is the Governor of Nairobi, I wonder what business grown up folks have whining about the guy. He beat the “more deserving” guyz in the elections, he has stopped “revenue streams” of some powerful folks, he’s taken the war to guyz who thought they own the city and he’s pissed off the right guyz in the process.
It’s always interesting to see the “big men” belittling him, selective opinion makers trying to mudsling and disrespect him, newspapers writing headlines about him in the negative, everyone who never liked or voted for him trying to come at him with all manner of attacks but the guy is still strong. So far, he’s on the right track.

Big potholes, garbage, hawkers and matatu menace are problems that exist in people’s imagination according to you.

If Sonko is clever, he will do the same but he is unlike to survive for long out of politics.

That is true, Kidero may surface one day down the road but if he doesn’t he and his cronies lined their pockets well and retirement is not a bad idea. Sonko has publicly resigned to being a one term governor, meaning that he has either decided to try and do what is right, or that he has given up and decided to play ball and get what he can out of it having lowered the publics expectations.

I do live there and many roads have craters even in the city centre unless huna macho.

Give the guy a break. It’s only been 6 months since he came in. 4 and a half years to go. Am certain he’ll deliver. Remember he’s trying to fix what has been run down for the last 30 years. Judge him at the end of his term.
