The problem is that we refuse to erevuka. Tribalism in Kenya thrives because when politicians and leaders peddle it, we eat that shit up like cotton candy. We base our decisions on tribal considerations even though we KNOW that at the end of the day, we are not going to feed our families tribalism!

If we treated any politician or potential leader exhibiting tribalistic tendencies as a leperous, syphilytic prostitute, then we will begin to whittle down the sponsors of the malaise. But we have to do it like we mean it, we must believe that we are all equal Kenyans whose destiny is intertwined. WE, as individuals must make the paradigm change.
