any president who would agree a change in constitution to extend his stay in power, doesn’t have his country interest at heart. kagame even though he has a good development record, this not the right way to go, what will prevent a bad dictator who might rule after him do the same? the only way to have sustainable development is through respecting our constitution and empowering our institutions. individuals are mere mortals

I really don’t see what the big deal is. The third term issue will be discussed by the rwandese parliament and subjected to a referendum. And if the rwandese want kagame to continue why should outsiders be bothered? Kagame’s history and personality are irrelevant, as far as the rwandese(majority) are concerned he is their best bet.
