Like Windows phones obsolescence....

MKV ni container, what really matters is the compression technique used. X264 and X265.

Mght have been smooth but the ecosystem was wanting.
The Chinese are just using android to penetrate the market

When it comes to buying electronics the key word is FUTURE PROOFING i bought my 4k tv over two years ago when people were casting aspersions on the availability of 4k content!!! Who is laughing now??? It smashes through any container and compression like nobodys business and its hdr 10 and 12 bit compliant. I take my sweet time sometimes even 6months to research on an item i intend to purchase. I read user reviews, blogs and youtube videos, i weigh the pros and cons long before they land in my home. When i recommend to someone just take my word for it coz i wont explain it to you!!!

Word of caution though since tech is fast evolving you have to pic a static point in time like in my case i choose 4k and executed it sahi kuna talk of 8k if you dont choose a static point you will keep chasing a mirage

Advice to remember!

They are succeeding.
If you might regard the TCL as an ‘exotic’ Chinese brand, Hisense, Haier, Changhong, these are some of the native Chinese brands that are breaking that ceiling everywhere in the world.

TCL is already a household name in US markets. Another one is Skyworth which is now trying to penetrate the same market. With android os onboard its a win win situation for everyone.

I need a Tele
42 inch

Iwe smart but sitaki LG Na Samsung

Which one do i go for?

TCL 43S6800. It’s a 2019 product. Android P.

2019 Hisense I can’t recall the model number.
Or Skyworth 43BT7000.
I would suggest that you take the TCL 43S6800 because it has inbuilt Bluetooth.

I agree since I have an LG tv, it has been surviving for the last 4-5 years now with webos but since I bought the TCL roku tv kimagendo ikafika kenya thank GOD. Am shocked this Tv is way better in performance and doesn’t joke with quality streaming. LG. SONY and SAMSUNG are the best tvs uku nje but its funny how TV Giants can easily fall if they dont lower their pride and add the specifications. Just like iPhone as much as they are rich and all, I feel its time things change or else… Nokia na blackberry is the way pole pole.

I still own my SONY Bravia TV that I bought in 2012. It connects to WI FI and I use android boxes a lot with it. What am I missing in terms of TV technology? What has evolved that I do not have on my SONY ? Will a 4k TV work with my Safaricom home internet?
