Im trying to be neutral here. Its not even about the MPs. The International community and observers sided with Jubilee and IEBC on a largely free and fair election. And they are against reforms ( for now only- not future). IEBC is also lukewarm to them believing they have enough controls to address all issues. Remember the opposition represents half(?) the country.

Sometimes institutions are merely functioning more than (they are) picking sides(tribes). Their personnel just happen to be from a particular tribe-without choice. Not every reasoning has to be coated with a tribal overtone.

I agree 100%. The LSK is simply doing what the LSK does. LSK were among the first groups to give 8/8 election a clean bill of health. The SCOK MUST address all allegations in the most transparent of manners because KENYA must start building TRUST in her institutions. By institutions I MEAN ALL; SCOK, IEBC, BUNGE, ARMED FORCES, MEDIA…

No reforms should take place before this election. Even the international community has held. Administrative compliances can resolve all issues raised by the Judiciary. Parliament should not be performing executive functions.

Very TRUE, because PARLIAMENT is LEGISLATIVE. PARLIAMENT MUST perform her LEGISLATIVE functions…which is passing laws; as the JUDICIARY performs her JUDICIAL functions. The JUDICIARY will then assess the laws’ legality and conformity to the KATIBA and allow them to hold or bring them down. BOTH ways, there are CONSTITUTIONAL mechanisms for redress.

Independence of the decision aside, FAKE papers were presented and FILED in the HIGHEST COURT IN THE LAND. Whether by the REGISTRAR or by NJOKI NDUNG’U, someone used FAKE PAPERS in the HIGHEST COURT IN THE LAND. Label it witchhunt or whatever you will but there is SOMETHING amiss in the SCOK. It MUST be addressed. I want to hear either NJOKI or the REGISTRAR facing disciplinary action! BOTH cannot be correct. The NATION has a right to know who MESSED UP, RWNEBP and UOTP aside!

Supreme Court Registrar Esther Nyaiyaki, is the pillar that holds together, the evils that led to the annulment of 2017, Presidential election.
She goes down, and the Supreme Court of Kenya, goes down with her.
Nyaiyaki, should be worrying about her Dear life, than the EACC. She should request for state protection around the clock, while cooperating with govt investigators.

As long as LSK would say something in this situation, it will be viewed as partisan. It is likely he argues for Shollei’s probe though. My only query is LSK’s make up. Isn’t it bi-partisan. Now is the chairman speaking on behalf of the whole society ( membership) or his personal view?
As it is, the bill may pass with no opposition( from NASA) signing. My concern here is with neutrality. It is very unlikely for a judge to make a ruling with grave consequences before the 26th.

The question of neutrality is neither here nor there because the LAWS will affect BOTH CANDIDATES equally. It is not like they will BE USED in NYANZA and NOT in CENTRAL!

Naswa has threatened that there will be no election. how do they achieve this? the cure is in the amendments.

1. if they withdraw, then uhuru as the sole candidate is declared the winner.
2. if chubukatineza(odm life member) runs away, is killed(msando style), has diarrhoea and is unable to carry out his mandate, then another commissioner can replace him.
   If wakora decided there were irregularities, we scrutinize the source documents.
