Mother Nature anawaambia the so-called experts…“screw u”…in short iyo road inafaa kuwa diverted asap.
Na hao wajinga wamesimama kwa the remaining portion…which mathematics are they smoking :p:D that tells them iyo part haiezi pia bomoka? Ama ni calculus?
They actually did a good Job. However, it was done so quickly after the split; the fault may not have settled or completed the splitting process. The underlying structure is still unsettled and is moving.
The Mau split appears identical is to the one that has opened in Mexico and the Antarctic. The all take the T shape, we could keep an eye on the first two, to get an indication of how the one in Kenya will evolve.
You must be retarded. What repairs were done? That was a temporary solution to get trafic moving. Obviously the ground is still shifting in that area. You expect them to stop a geographic fault?
That split on the road is in a bad spot, the T junction formation is right next to the road. Perhaps start considering the possibility of establishing a temporary bypass road elsewhere, just in case T- splits any further.
African Rift Initiation (SAFARI) project installed 50 seismic stations across Africa in the summer of 2012 due to splits happening elsewhere in the Rift Valley

The SPLIT is here. So I am granting the western region independence by making the long awaited split of the horn of Africa from the continent. Too bad i have to sacrifice rift valley. it will flood all the way from the Mediterranean to Malawi.
