How can you compare timber sales in Kenya and that in the US, yet you know that a lot of the houses are constructed with wood and wood products.

It is also likely that they were not the first to encroach. The land was cleared of trees, sold and then the land grabbed. These guys came later.

You have answered yourself. U.S and Canadian homes are timber because timber is readily available and they replenish the forests quickly and RESPONSIBLY.

Same in Britain, Russia, JAPAN especially Japan … and many other developed countries. So this myth being peddled that humans can’t live and co-exist in Mau forest with the trees is total nonsense.

In the U.S and Canada people live deep in the forests. They are the caretakers. Whole towns and cities developed around those same forests fed by those same forests e.g. Portland Oregon.
