Men and depression

:D…wah…

How now…this is a serious discussion…

Wewe acha zako, you have no idea what you’re saying, you’ve probably never faced real problems by the way you are brushing off the issue. Or you could have and are just too afraid to admit it to yourself that you could think such thoughts.

It’s more rampant than guys admit

Men die more from suicide but women attempt it more, pills can’t compete with guns or ropes.

to be honest i have been through really dark times in my life…really dark…but i choose resilience towards achieving peace of mind…

wrong, anthropologists and historians have documented male suicides in our communities and how such cases were handled…This includes how such people were buried and how their families were treated thereafter. And modern problems coupled with information technology gives this discussion a different angle.

Not dark enough to think about suicide, hujui shida ni nini wewe.

Around 2013 I almost committed suicide. Unapitia mateso msee, mawazo inakusonga and you really feel there’s no need of living any more. So how do you stop living? Suicide!

Wrong approach.

Yep. Depression is a serious issue. Maybe the solution lies in a man himself and then his closest relatives. But those may think he isn’t man enough. How will men be encouraged to see/ visit mental health specialists?

not as rampant and not out of sissy-ass problems as today

kukamuliwa bibi sio big issue, kuna guys out there wako na real issues which you can’t just wish away

turned out ok though

Okiii you say so.

I once lost a friend through suicide nakumbuka around 2015…most of my close friends were so pissed mpaka we missed the deceased funeral
Bure kabisa

Men believe that talking about your problems is a sign of weakness

And it should not be.

tunajua wewe huwa dunder, lakini si lazima utukumbushe kwa kila post

huyo hajui chenye anasema
