Middle Class

Interesting. What’s the educational path towards becoming an MO? Is it more lucrative to specialize or remain as a medical officer?

Alafu, if you want to specialize do most people do it locally or abroad? Is it hard to get accepted for MMed? What do they consider for admission?

Well fed

Ongea kizungu, plalfakin!!

Iza Bro.

Unless ni emergency or special circumstances. Ndio uwe specialist in 2 disciplines, lazima uende shule 4 years for the first, and 4 years for the second masters degree in medicine.

That was all. Doctors who have finished internship and are posted to hospitals as medical officers usually rotate from one department to another. Due to shortages, one doctor can cover the whole hospital. So, atazalisha watoto, ashone cuts za wezi wa Kiandutu, apatie walevi wa Witeithie who are in a coma glucose, aende lab kutest na kuchukua blood, kesho aende morgue kufanya post-mortem za akina pamba, kila kitu.

I still think all doctors are overpaid…they do not heal or do anything special…attaching a name from symptoms and tests then prescribing medicine isn’t a big deal …with my computer science degree , i see how i come up with a bot to do all that …doctors sort of act as brokers …they aren’t really needed in most cases …think about it …anyone can tell a certain disease has certain symptoms …the magic comes in reading the nuanced , ideosyncracies a certain disease or pathogen has…a computer can do that with 1000* accuracy… I respect surgeons and lab people more than doctors…more respect to neuro sugeons too

:D:D:D:D nimeelewa, unajua sisi tulisomea kwa dirisha.

Id vouch for nurses instead… doctors are overpaid idiots
