Roads are important but if most citizens can’t use it (due to high cost of living as a result of additional taxes), it becomes useless. The CBK governor warned against more borrowing for infrastructure projects.

At first i thought @Village Mopper was being too critical. But, what reasoning is this? Ati common people won’t use the roada coz they’re poor?
I have never tried this hard to relate to a seemingly well thought post.

Read again, most citizens. A loan to finance such a road will definitely come with consequences. Expect more taxes and austerity. Expect high fuel prices and fare increase. Traveling then becomes a low priority.

You saying most citizens cannot use it is wish-wash, between SGR and buses, what is affordable to most citizens?
