You can actually service most stuff in your car yourself. perfectly. Except assembling the motor, unless you know exactly what you are doing.

Better replace an engine if it has issues or overhaul it yourself. I’ve seen a mechanic dismantle an engine to change the piston rings. I was there as he dismantled it and he put all the nuts and bolts in one container. Sasa vile alimaliza kui assemble that container was still half full. Kumuuliza akaniambia ati hizo hazina kazi.

Why change the pads again si you just put back the damn sensors?

these mechs of today, wacha tu. get yourself an obd2 cable and be doing your own diagnostics.
never “clear the codes” because that means you’ve buried it under the carpet. fix the issue.
then, if google or youtube or time is of no help, get a trusted mech who can sort it out.

The long and short of it, many can’t handle modern cars with computer and advanced electronic systems. I learnt that the hard way when I had a car with an overheating problem. The problem was a simple sensor and they almost made me change the whole radiator, fan and gauge. Luckily for me am the questioning type and never did any of that.

Easter hapo this happened to me. Eh, damages of unmanageable proportions. Had to get a specialist to work on the metal contraption at a higher cost na shida ilikuwa tu sensor moja iliharibika due to overheating.
