the problem is, with this apps let say you get a salary or 10k and hizi lending apps cumulatively give you 20k loan limit at the end of the month you wont base your budget at 10k which you earn but instead you will budget on the 30k hapo ndio shida sasa huanza

This is very true I was once a victim but thanks God things changed for better…

About the online lending apps does anyone know about Connect Credit. Past experiences etc… Its walks like a duck just like in the description above. and the guys who approached me were using very technical finance terms like IFRS and talking more of competitors rather than their own features and benefits

I only have 2 places I can get a loan.Mshwari and KCB Mpesa and it is because they come with the MySafaricom app.
I use KCB Mpesa as a fixed savings account.
However I have never borrowed from either since 2015(never from KCB Mpesa ).
I see these loan apps as being no different from credit cards,except for the fact that these loan apps do not get you the benefits of Visa Signature or Mastercard World Elite provide.
