You can’t simply expect guys that worship defenders and rangerovers to come anywhere near a Pajero. Pajeros are for guys like us with small pockets.

My take is that you should not buy a pajero if you want to take serious offroading but if it’s anything like going to those ushagos and coming back you can park it amongst the big boys and still get recognition.

i know a gg2 /3 and sg5/9 subarus will beat the paj interms of offroading, maintenance and reliability…
i also know that that first generation discovery is very easy to maintain, more pocket friendly than a Paj, so is the old school rangie and i have seen a hilux dcab, a dmax too will do and they have a brother, the L200 mitsu which again, trounces the Paj… no?

Baraza is lying. Off road ability he only refers to ground clearance. Pajero beats Prado off-road mainly because of two features

1. Independent suspension. This allows each wheel and shock to handle its on shock hence doesnt transfer to other suspensions naking the ride off-road smoother.
2. Pajero has superior torque to Prado. Pulling itself over boulders or depressions.

I love the 2 door.

for performance range rovers are a bit overrrated. but they do come with posh interiors. leather and wood everywhere. and they’re built like tanks. but i do believe i saw uhuru in a pajero several times so usidharau pajero.
