my view on existence of Nairobi national park

So we go back how far? One works with what one has. If we go back far enough Kenya was empty… Hehehe…

100 years back is not going to make Kenya empty. There was a report produced in 1929 that can serve as a good basis for land injustice. At kule egypt when Gamal Abdel Nasser said land will be distributed, the bwenyenyes thought it was impossible but land reforms went through. Idi amin was horrible dude but he gave ungandans their land back, same with mugabe.

This is thinking of a severely inferior and defective brain of semi-illiterate human who in my opinion should not be allowed to procreate. I am sure you will win a Darwin’s award. What are you going to say next? that we kill our old parents to save a 10 packets of unga? This is the most stupid post I have ever seen on this on forum, hands down.

Mtu anafikiria na matako. Unataka hio park ikatwe ploti ndio mjengee slums na mkunie kila mahali ovyoovyo.

Iddi Amin, Mugabe, your heroes? I am surprised nature allowed you to survive this long enough to say what you have just said!

They are not heroes, they listened to their people and did what was best for them. Why is your perspective skewed toward what western journalists told you? I’m sure for up to 100 years after the civil warn George Washington was demonized by the British. He is also most likely a demon to the native americans with all whites but he is considered a hero by the white invaders. Why is your perspective skewed towards them and not your own race?

Only one and last question: Did your heroes “leave” their countries (people) better than they found it?

Better has to be looked at on a timescale of humanity. When many african countries were fighting for independence, a lot of people died and many livelihoods were lost. However, in the long, the benefit is that they are no longer colonized. They may not be rich or living lavish, but they have a semblance of independent thought. If you look at China and what they have achieved, they would not have reached there if they were still a colony of the UK and france.

Same with Vietnam, they fought the US for over 20 years and their economies was destroyed and their children killed and women raped. If they had accepted US dominance, their lives would have been awesome and they would have lived great prosperous lives. But they decided no to, the result is that Vietnam is today a respected member of the global community. They have free will and the freedom to determine their future. Their own general might have been crude and and contributed to their suffering at the time.

However, the final result is commendable, their economy and country is not controlled by any overlords. Or special people who feel like being born gives them the right to be rich.

Kwani ni must kila mtu aishi Nairobi?

Si lazima but why should nairobians have 30% of the most important resource they have locked up for no good reason. What special species is found in Nairobi NP that is not found in any other park in kenya??

Idi Amin destroyed the Ugandan economy. It’s something they have yet to recover from.

On the flip side, the Asians who fled UG found a more willing economic climate here and boosted Kenya’s economy

Mugabe also destroyed his own nation’s economy. The myth that he improved the lives of Zimbabweans is a flat lie. The farms were so run down that towards the end of his regime he was calling back the farmers he had kicked out to restart the farms in a bid to avert a food crisis.

Nairobi National Park generates revenue. The slums and huge estates that will pop up if it were gone will not.

How much of that revenue goes to the Nairobi County government to pay for services of people in the city. How much revenue would Nairobi generate in land rates from that expansive land?

The problems with Nairobi County Government isn’t about land rates boss.
County revenue is not a problem for NCG at all.

In fact it is one of the few counties that can afford to have a national park taking up 30% of its space.

Jaribu ingine.

No its not, over 50% of nairobians have no access to basic sanitation and water service. The roads in the county are torn up and dustty too

And? These issues can be resolved without destroying or interference with NNP.

no they cannot, Niarobians should be ask to vote if they want wild animals next to them.

Juu barabara na maji iko NNP? Acha upuzi

What next? Fill up the park Halafu Twende tunyakue the other remaining parks due to high population growth and insatiable greed?
Bonobo like you should be arrested for their sheer stupidity.
