Its a very common con. They hire the car for a month. Within that time they get fake documents from Kirinyaga road and sell the car. ( note they target toyota fielder which is the fastest selling car in kenya today) The buyer is ultimately the loser.

Car track is a joke. Any self respecting car thief will detect and disable the gadget within five minutes. The achilles heel in all car track gadgets is battery life. For them to keep sending signals, they use a lot of power just like your phone. That means they have to be hard wired to the car battery. All the robber has to do is trace everything wired to the car battery. There are also cheap gadgets used to sniff any electronic appliance in a car that has a radio
