If your card is on the red on admission,the hospital cannot notify.just know you have ma 72hrs to trouble shoot with their branch offices. It could be your employer anatuma your deductions with the wrong ID. To check your card status send text to 21101 on message write ID(weka space)XXX XXX

VC i thought the hosi processes the NHIF thing before you leave. Actually, at admission, the hosi checks if your cover is up to date. On the day of discharge ndio wanacalculate your invoice and bill NHIF. But there was a time they used to refund, i don’t know about nowadays.

I thought the same as well.
I assumed it was like other insurance.
