Go to an insurance agency and have them placed on cover against theft and damage. You will be surprised that you can put a tv worth 100k under cover for less than 3k for an entire year. If your tv gets stolen, just get an abstract from the cops and file your claim with the insurance company. if the tv falls and gets broken, file a claim and get a technical report from the service centre (e.g samsung or sony) on the cost to repair the tv or if its unable to be repaired, they give you pro-forma invoice. The insurance company will compensate you less excess (which most cases is no more than 10% value of the item insured).
