Nation walianza uGio kitambo. Some years back, even though I was still a sufferer, I was feeling very ambitious and decided to place one advert in the classifieds. I went to the agent (was in Nax at the time), wrote down the advert I wanted, and parted with 2300shs after the agent was done counting sijui lines and words. I was told my ad would appear in Wednesday’s Nation. So I went home while imagining how my phone would just blow up from all the orders I’d receive.
Wacha niwaambie, I waited. I bought Nation newspaper for two weeks straight. I would go through that classifieds section over and over, thinking I’d missed my ad. Finally, I had to admit to myself that my shs 2300 had “drunk water”. Aki niliumwa.
