Anyway, hizo za paradiso ni silencer tu huwa imetolewa. Very different from how supercharged and turbo whistle. I could tell you alot about a car by listening to its idle and rev sounds. Here’s a proper vid of what I mean when I say “whistling”. Feel that whistling noise in the background? More like a plane? That’s the boost building up.

Golf GTIs are pretty sweet rides too. But a stock one is no match for a tuned one. Optimal turbo performance needs a turbo-back exhaust system. And that applies to a GTI too. Opening up the exhaust for additional airflow enhances power and perfomance.

No. While optimizing cars for power brings noise, it is definitely not the noise you get with most kenyan subarus(1.5litre non turbo). Real optimization results to a high pitched whine(like a jet engine) like you hear in rally cars. Hii ingine ni kuweka custom muffler kusumbua watu tu.

Having cars making that stupid noise ni upuzi. We’ve seen guys with Jaguars and other really high end vehicles na hawasumbui na hii utoto ya watu wa Subaru.

I just hate the noise. It comes across as very juvenile. And what’s with sub guys and racing. The other day a forester was effortlessly overtaken by a benz, which is clearly a superior car in terms of horsepower and everything but the sub guy had to floor the pedal just to prove a point.
