Happens alot not only in the areas where the public come for service, we had a service week at my place of work, I served a group of people, my name, accent, build and face gives no inkling to where I come from, after sometime, I opened the session for questions, the first question was ‘wewe ni kabila gani?’ I smiled and answered ‘Hilo halikuhusu ndewe wala skio’ the puzzle in their faces was palpable, the others switched to a dialect of my mother tongue and told her, to stop asking silly questions.
