What is there to fear in this world?
You have nothing to fear but fear itself -JFK
Fear not he who can destroy the body only but rather fear He who can destroy both the body and the soul - God

It is the other way round. Rock music sings deep meanings, sio kama music za hepi na useless flashing of cash.
Now for a person like me, I found the music speaking at a deeper level about me. I grew up with the likes of Evanescence and Linkin Parkā€¦
Hope that clears it out. Izo zingine zimeekwa hapo sio ilk yangu.

I think the fact the rock music talks much about laying off your burden, dark fears etc is what gives solace to suicidal person. Feeding mind with negative comfort just makes one think he is not alone.

That is a wrong stigma based view. It is depression or bi-polar disorder that one suffers from. Suicide is the last way out. Reread the poemā€¦
Also not everyone dying of suicide is a rock enthusiast.

Another short poem:

Dreading my exit, I reached out and
You helped me hold on
In the darkest of times
Nagging and killing the world
Going on, hoping you forget, I canā€™t

It pains as it pleases
Seeing me embrace what I can.

Not again. It like it never goes away.

Hii rock music ni

Couldnt have said it better. Its easier to listen to sad/dark music whose emotions you relate to, than face the root cause of your issues.

Another log, another bad day.

Broā€¦do you go out? Do you just take a long walk to nowhere just for the sake of itā€¦if not you should. Hii kujifungia jwa nyumba haisaidii

Actually at times I do. Today I did and regret it. I tried work doesnā€™t feel right. Treat this as a journal though. Am working on a few pieces of art.

what happened to the spelling around here?

and post the art! mbisha muhim!

Wordsā€¦words! I cannot find them
Especially to express the joy, momentarily found
A storm gathers, bringing mayhem only
To later pass and let the sun shine
Healing the maladies, with dumpness wrought
Eternal though they seemed
Remedy is but foreseen, only wished

Over and over! Th cycle perpetuates
Fulfilling polarity promises, with dark later light

Minding what they have, farmers need the switch
In dry days hay they make, plant in wet ones
Never once, condemning an day or season
Ending of which another begins
