@Wepukhulu,

What is your budget, and do you have prior experience with photography?? I have been digital since 2001 and can share tips. Check out my albums.

Do it like yesterday @Deorro. Compared to cheki maneno, the photography enthusiasts have been working quietly and have built quite an enviable collection of albums.

These are the of information I was looking for, so that when I pick a camera, I would have made a choice depending on its strength and weakness.

Thank you

Nice album, it reminded me back then (2008…) we had a site called snapmylife. I uploaded a lot of trip photos halafu ikafungwa. Uchungu huwa nafeel nikikumbuka photos nilipoteza…

Then I discovered flickr and later on Picasa, but it was too late.

Wayback machine does not preserve everything, only random pages and content on random dates.

@Wepukhulu,

Thanks. When you were using snapmylife, I was on Webshots, and that died too.

That photo of the windmill was made with a pretty intelligent little compact camera, which is also an option you should consider instead of jumping right into the DSLR world.

[SIZE=4]50K is enough for a beginner DSLR with one kit lens (Euro prices), although a mid-range (with two kit lensess!) would be a better choice if you are serious about photography and want to grow. I’m a Nikon person, but as someone has said here, a Canon Digital Rerbel could be your choice.

Read reviews, especially those of active owners, then make the choice.

Mi ni paparazzi, newby, so I may not be an authority kwa sector. From my little experience, endea Nikon D3200 ama Canon 1200D ama 1300D. Very nice shots na ni sturdy. Canon best for natural vivid shots. Nikon nice for portraits.
