Pins and passwords

I have almost 15 pins and passes. All memorised because I have a formula that I use to calculate each.
ECitizen, google, Outlook, mpesa, 2 lines, equity, chase, cba, telegram, phone password, alibaba, AliExpress, eBay, Amazon, 3 laptop passes and 2 of them ziko na different passes and several subaru fora… Alafu najua account number ya tokens.
Sina fb and twitter so I don’t need those.
And of course, 2 pseudo emails that I use when I don’t want personal info to leak.

Ati 15 pins? those are just too many.

for me, whichever number comes, i put it and it sticks. No formula. So no hacking. :D:D

For passwords I use ‘incorrect’ for all my accounts so that when I input a wrong password the system reminds me that, “Your password is incorrect”

Used that one for a while. But changed. Easy for someone to try. Just like some people use password as password. he he

No simpin
No phone pin or pswd
Mpesa pin (shared with my siz)
Equity pin (not shared at all)
No laptop pswd
All my 4+ email addresses share pswd.
Any other social media bullshit i use a common pswd

My Mpesa, Airtel and bank pins, Laptops, shared with my wife. The rest, i got.

How many passwords and pins do you have /use?

So yesterday night i was in my bed thinking about sending someone some money. Then i just thought about the passwords and pins and wondered how many i have and use and none are the same!!
e.g

[li]2 phones two to log in. then Mpesa pin and Airtel money pin[/li][li]2 laptops with power on and log in passwords[/li][li]4 company email addresses with different passwords[/li][li]4 personal email addresses with different passwords[/li][li]3 email addresses for downloading and installing things when i don’t want to use personal emails.[/li][li]social sites; Facebook, ktalk, uber, amazon, olx…[/li]
[li]5 bank accounts and pins[/li][li]safe pins [/li]
[li]etc[/li][/ul]
List is not yet done. But i was shocked at the number of accounts, pins and passwords i have.

How many do you have and how many do you use?

If you find that passwords are too damn difficult to memorize, use passphrases eg:

6 betsite paybill and accompanying passwords, 3 email passwords, 5 social media passwords, 3 e-banking pins, 1 school portal pin…if have not forgotten others

For accounts that require a password i use a not so complex password and combine it 2 factor authentication that way even if you get my password ,you still have to use 2 Factor authentication to access the account.For bank,prepaid card and MPESA i randomly change the four digit pin .

I have 3 password /pins used interchangeably for emails , phone, computer, porn sites, mpesa, bank and all portals… I can only forget a password twice… The third must go through

what a terrible waste to trust an app with all ua passwords

I choose he easy life, no tin foil hats, or fighting big data. If it fails, it fails. I’ll recover gracefully.
