Corruption has become away of life, the political class starting from the TOPMOST are are the most corrupt lot. We celebrate and defend them and so they go about it as if there is nothing wrong. Was transacting some business in my county offices and the lifestyle the so called contractors are leaving baffled me. If you ask about the projects they are working on, you realize there is nothing going on. Costs are inflated ten fold and still a very small percentage goes to the project.
Hii devolution just brought corruption closer home, unfortunately. I once paid a very steep price for corruption personally just because I was unwilling to join the gravy train. I opted to take a walk. Such is life.
