Violent crime has risen dramatically. 2 weeks ago my cousin was kidnapped in Nakuru and held at ransom. The kidnappers asked for 60k or they kill her. When the family reported the matter to the police, police were saying not to pay ransom ati watawashika. No way! Her family paid them off and she was brought home safely. To add on to this topic, if kidnapped and they demand for ransom, pay first and let the police do investigations later.
