govt officials those in high places always ride in 3-4 motogari . 2 of them are official and 2 private probably with more guns and bullets than ile kifaru ya kdf .

About 4 years ago, i got myself a simple DVB-T USB tuner, installed SDR on a computer and could listen to UHF and VHF bands. I remember stumbling on traffic police dispatch on around 155Mhz and the patrol unit on 460Mhz.

Way back in the 90s I recall stumbling upon police communications as well while erecting an outdoor aerial to improve FM & SW reception. The interference was so much I had to shift the aerial.

So yesterday, while in a matatu (Nairobi Area), i noticed a police land cruiser with insurance sticker on the windscreen. It seemed like a joke but was surprised when few minutes later, noticed another police vehicle had the insurance sticker plus the service stickers from Total.
Today, i saw yet another police vehicle with the insurance sticker. GK vehicles have not been known to have insurance. This could be part of “Jubilee development” or a way of making someone rich.
